The Atlanta Hair Loss Conference was created to keep the Certified Hair Loss Specialists throughout the United States and abroad educated and informed. They consist of Cosmetologists, Barbers, Trichologists, etc.
The specialists return each year to receive updates in regards to INSURANCE within the beauty industry. Also, to learn new technical skills.
The conference speakers bring information from the beauty, business and medical professions.
The conference serves as a networking venue for Nurse Practitioners, Doctors and other medical professionals to meet CERTIFIED Hair Loss Specialists to serve their patients who are suffering from various types of Alopecia.

Why are Nurse Practitioners, Doctors and other medical professionals attending the conference?
The Nurse Practitioners, doctors and other medical professionals have an opportunity to learn more about the hair loss business to better serve their patients. They will learn about the solutions available to their patients to help with their self-esteem. They will learn how to assist women going through the “mourning process” they go through as they lose themselves to their illness. They will be in a position to assist men, women and children who suffer from various types of alopecia, with some due to chemotherapy, burns, etc.
After the conference, the medical professionals can enroll in an online class entitled: Insurance Billing for Hair Loss Clients. After completing the class, they will have “specialized” knowledge to better advise their patients, offer “specialized” services, refer their patients to a CERTIFIED Hair Loss Specialist for installations and increase their income.
The class will teach you:
- The needed knowledge to better assess and advise your patients on the use of non-surgical hair replacement service covered by insurance companies.
- How to partner with a Certified Hair Loss Specialists for installation of a Cranial Prosthesis or for them to create a completely custom prosthesis for your patient that can match their hair type.
- How to increase your income as a Nurse Practitioner who is trained in Non-Surgical Hair Replacement.
- The proper criteria for insurance coverage; all insurance companies are slightly different. This provides you the core knowledge that you need to go to the insurance company for your patient.
- How to use our exclusively recommended billing company to process insurance claims on behalf of your patients.
- How to pre-qualify patients and clients for insurance claims
- How to properly select the type of units/systems for hair loss clients
- How to set up a payment plan system for those who need it and so much more!
